The Gypsy Wedding of the festival! Sunday July 19th, 11:30PM
Future Cinema, brings you a gypsy-fuelled celebration of Emir Kusturica's cult classic 'Black Cat, White Cat' creating a live experience of the film featuring live music by legendary 14 piece Gypsy band Taraf De Haidouks. Taking place on the peaceful banks of the Danube in the film and music tent on Sunday night.
Matko Destanov and Dadan Karambolo invite you to immerse yourself in a Gypsy wedding ceremony celebrating the joyful union of Zare and Afrodita with dancing, short films by Future Shorts, a screening of the film, Black Cat, White Cat and the biggest Gypsy wedding of the festival!

A hilarious comedy from the director of ‘Life is a Miracle’, Emir Kusturica’s Black Cat, White Cat is a riotous mix of farce, romance and crime. Set within a community of gypsies, it tells a story of dodgy deals, family ties, young love and magical occurrences.
